*wipes forehead So we finally made it to the end of the road?!?!?!?!

My 23 things was a journey. It kept me busy I can surely say that. In this process I learned most importantly the dangers of procrastination. 23 things was a great expierence I learned some new things and some not so new things. I see things differently. I didnt really care for registering for all of the different accounts. The emails can weigh a inbox down. A lot of the things I learned  I will take back and apply in to my classroom. I actually enjoyed doing the blog I wouldnt mind keeping it up. But the new this day is vloging. I have started that.
So I promise to vlog and upload them to my blog to share my expierences with the world!!!

Thing #23

Find an example or attribution that shows the Learning 2.0-23Things for Teachers blog was based on someone else's work and modified from its original

Apsu 23 was based off a k12 course it is a "self-guided online learning adventure is designed to provide classroom teachers and other school personnel with an introductory "What's out there?" exploration of some common tools and concepts related to Web 2.0."

As a teacher I probably would still try to stay away from doing things like this just to be on the safe side. I hope it isnt a hinderence to my students.

Thing #22 All Binded Up

At first I was reluctant to the livebinders but after playing with them for a moment. I actually began to like the livebinders. The binders I created was *Education Resources for Students, *Education Resources for Teachers and *Lesson plans. It was really easy to organize. It really is not as much work as I though it would be. The website did the filing itself I just placed the url in to area and it did the rest. Its better than have a million papers inside. Yep. You finally got the technophobe to say that a website is actually better than having paper. I am gonna apply this website now for college. I could submit students online work into their binders or even if we progess. Or even websites that they need to visit to help them for standards they scored low on as I explained in the livetext entry for assestment teaching.

Thing #21

I enjoyed used animoto. It was very simple and the tutorial that helped out as well. I was worried about my video. I thought it was gonna be crazy looking because it was just too simple. I could see myself paying for animoto and creating full length videos. It would be a great for the class room. I chose to do flowers because I really love flowers and I thought that this would be grwat video for relaxtion. Im gald that I achieve my goal.As a matter of fact i like my video so much I up loaded it to facebook so my friends could view it!

Thing #20 Broadcast Yourself.

You tube is one of the world's best websites in my opinion. I go on the site daily and find everything. I find recipes, hobbies, hair styles, tv shows and etc. Youtube can be a good site for your student under close supervison and moderation. But I do believe that most schools have youtube blocked.
The video I embedded is a song that I thought would be needed when we begin to teach. As teachers we will have many days where we will feel unappreciated. It will come from school administrators, students, parents, and other fellow teacher. On those days we should play this song for instant encouragement. I did not like how open the site is especially in the comments area this is because many people use profanity and it makes it hard to show things on this site because of this. But the site is perfect for extracurricular. Its a same that some much talent goes to waste on that site because the intended audience can not view it because of the other craziness on the site.

Thing 19 Social Networks galore!!!!!

There are really alot of social networking sites. I enjoyed the food sites bettwer becuase I loves to cook. I am not a very productive member of social networking because I typically take recipes and dont add any. That doesnt make a very productive site so I am gonna try to get better at this! But who wants to share their secret recipes. I am not a member of any social networks besides facebook and twitter because I really dont care ofr all the emails that come with signing up for social networks. It can sometimes clutter a inbox up.

Thing 18 Tweeting just got real!!!!

I already had a twitter account. Twitter is addictive. I love the fact that it allows people to talk instantly to each other. It also gives you a opprotunity to see people's true personalities.
Iti is important for teachers to know how social networking works becuase the kids are always on them. If the teacher just posts a posts or tweet that say dont forget projects due tomorrow this can help students stay on track. I didnt like the possible risk of span and viruses on facebook. Facebook is a good way to post funny educational videos to share with students. This can be used in a classroom with serious moderation. Because so much bullyiing and craziness is on the internet especially social networks. Its some aspects of your student's life as a teacher you dont really wanna know.  This post inspires me to really consider adding social networking to my class.
