Zoho writer in my opinion exactly like word. If one has microsoft word on thei personal computer there is virtually no need for word. I think Zoho word is a great appilcation simply because Microsoft word is extremely expensive in my opinion. So if you can go use Zoho you would be fine. But if your in an area that does not have internet or your internet fail you may loose your information. This product will virtually make productions like microsoft word obselete.
I tried to makle a slide show presentation with googleDoc. Im not sure if it because I dont like new things but I hated it! The layout was similar to microsoft powerpoint but it was also different. I was not add new colorful backgrounds whic was frustrating. I also had a hard time even veiwing my show. I think that this is a good resource just not good for me.

I would allow my students to do use for presentations. That way we wont be limited by what applications the computers and school amy or may not have. Also some children may not have word and etc on their home computers so this will give them the opprotunity to still be able to go home and complete assignments.
I would prefer Google docs because it had more of the actual appilcations that microsoft also has and we can have more activites.
